Off-Road Disclaimer, Refund & Return Policy

⚠️ Section 1: Off-Road & Competition Use Disclaimer

Many products manufactured, fabricated, and sold by TruBlu Welding + Fabrication are intended for off-road, closed-course competition, show, or custom vehicle use. The buyer is responsible for determining whether a product is legal and appropriate for their vehicle and intended use.

  • Legal Compliance: The buyer is responsible for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, safety requirements, noise ordinances, and emissions regulations.
  • Installation: Professional installation is recommended for fabricated and performance components. Improper installation, modification, or misuse can cause product or vehicle damage.
  • Assumption of Risk: The buyer assumes responsibility for the installation and use of the product. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

📦 Section 2: Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

TruBlu is a small fabrication shop, and many products are made or prepared specifically to fulfill each order. Materials, outside services, shop time, and production capacity may be committed before an order ships.

  • Orders Awaiting Fulfillment: If your order has not yet shipped, you may request cancellation. Approved cancellations and refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee. The remaining 75% of the eligible order amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
  • Once an Order Ships: All sales are final once the order has shipped. After shipment, TruBlu does not accept returns, cancellations, exchanges, or refunds for buyer’s remorse, change of plans, selling the vehicle, incorrect customer-selected options, or similar reasons.
  • No 24-Hour Cancellation Rule: Cancellation eligibility is based on whether the order has shipped, not on the amount of time since purchase. An eligible order awaiting fulfillment is subject to the 25% restocking fee described above.
  • Fitment Responsibility: Customers are responsible for confirming the correct year, make, model, configuration, finish, size, and other options before ordering. Please contact TruBlu before purchasing if you are unsure about fitment.

🎨 Section 3: Custom Fabrication, Materials & Finish

  • Raw Metal Products: Raw or unfinished steel, stainless steel, or aluminum may have normal handling marks, light scuffs, mill characteristics, or other minor cosmetic variation. Raw steel must be properly coated or otherwise protected to prevent corrosion.
  • Handcrafted Products: Minor differences in weld appearance, bends, surface finish, or other handcrafted details are normal characteristics of fabricated products and are not considered defects when they do not affect fit, function, or structural integrity.
  • Painted and Custom-Finished Parts: Paint and custom finishes may have reasonable variation caused by materials, application, lighting, vehicle age, or existing paint condition.

🛠️ Section 4: Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders

The no-return policy does not prevent customers from reporting an item that arrives damaged, is materially defective, or is different from what was ordered.

  • 48-Hour Inspection Window: Inspect your order promptly after delivery. Please report shipping damage, an incorrect item, or an apparent manufacturing defect within 48 hours of delivery.
  • How to Report a Problem: Email jordangodshall@trubluservice.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging when relevant.
  • Resolution: After the issue is reviewed and verified, TruBlu may repair the item, replace the affected component, provide the correct item, or provide another appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances.
  • Do Not Modify a Problem Item: If you believe an item is incorrect or defective, contact TruBlu before installing, cutting, welding, drilling, painting, coating, or otherwise modifying it whenever reasonably possible.
  • Exclusions: Damage caused by improper installation, customer modification, abuse, accidents, misuse, or normal wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

🚚 Section 5: Shipping & Carrier Issues

  • Shipping Damage: If a package arrives visibly damaged, photograph the packaging and product and contact TruBlu promptly so the issue can be documented and, where appropriate, a carrier claim can be initiated.
  • Tracking & Delivery: Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and monitoring carrier tracking information.
  • Lost or Misdelivered Packages: Contact TruBlu if tracking indicates a delivery problem so available carrier claim or investigation options can be reviewed.
