VW TDI Hood Stack Kit – Standard & Teardrop

Choose a straight or curved hood-exit outlet with a fabricated VW TDI hood stack kit from TruBlu Fab Shop.

Both styles are built around 2.5-inch 304 stainless tubing with a turbo-connection flange and an O2 sensor bung.

Confirmed fitment

• Physical fit test completed on a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

• Factory turbo exit on the test vehicle

• Installed photos show the Teardrop configuration

Other Jetta and Golf TDI applications require individual fitment confirmation. Contact TruBlu Fab Shop with your year, model, engine code and turbo configuration before ordering.

Full-kit fitment has not been verified across the 2006–2015 range. A matching turbo flange does not establish hood, sensor or engine-bay clearance. Passat applications are excluded.

A trim ring is planned as an optional paid add-on. It is not included in the base kit and will not be available to select until pricing is confirmed.

Straight hood-exit outlet.

Teardrop: $399

Curved, slash-cut hood-exit outlet.

Installation requirements

Installation requires a correctly positioned opening in the hood. Before cutting or operating the vehicle:

• Test-fit the complete assembly and verify alignment at the turbo exit

• Confirm O2 sensor placement and connection

• Check hood clearance and clearance around wiring, hoses, bodywork and other heat-sensitive components

Measure carefully before cutting the hood. Professional installation is recommended.

Availability and production time

For both Standard and Teardrop, estimated build and dispatch time is about 2 weeks when parts need to be restocked. Shipping transit time is additional. Availability to order does not mean a finished kit is ready to ship.

Cancellations and returns

Orders that have not shipped may be cancelled on request. Approved cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Once an order has shipped, all sales are final; returns, cancellations, exchanges and refunds for buyer’s remorse, incorrect customer-selected options or similar reasons are not accepted.
